Thericon to receive EIC Accelerator funding

  • by

Thericon won funding from the European Innovation Council under the EIC Accelerator programme.

The company was one of 1093 who submitted a full proposal for the first 2022 cut-off on 23 March, having met the EIC criteria of excellence, impact and risk level in an initial screening. After receiving the all-green from three anonymous Evaluators, Thericon was invited to present in front of a jury of experienced investors and entrepreneurs. Out of 266 European start-ups interviewed, Thericon is one of only 74 to receive funding in the competitive programme.

Thericon is slated to receive a €2.5m grant and will be considered for equity investment through the EIC Fund upon achievement of certain milestones.
